| On Monday 11th November Garnett Council No 8 met at Lancaster Masonic Hall. |

The District Team |
| After opening the Council the W.M. W.Bro. Stephen Pemberton welcomed the members and guests to the meeting; he was particularly delighted to have the company of the District Prefect and the members of the District Team |

Ken Needham welcomed to the Order by Stephen Pemberton |
| The first business of the evening was to Introduce Bro. Ken Needham to the Degree of St.Lawrence the Martyr. This Ceremony was conducted by members of the Council. The Lecture was presented by V.W.Bro. Ian Kennon. |

| On completion of that Ceremony, members of the District Team then worked a Knights of Constantinople, to which three Candidates were admitted, Paul Broadley, Larry Branyan and Ken Needham. This Lecture in this Degree was presented by V.W.Bro. Geoff Catterall. Garnett Council is the only Council our Reporter is aware of that wears Aprons and Collars of the Degree. |

| After all the business was concluded, Paul Snape the District Grand Prefect congratulated W.Bro. Pemberton and all the members for the high standard of Ritual worked in both the St Lawrence the Martyr and the Knights of Constantinople Ceremony. |

Enjoying Maxine’s Lasagne |
| In reply Stephen Pemberton thanked the District Grand Prefect for his generous comments inviting him and all present to join him at dinner. Following the meeting everyone enjoyed one of Maxine’s sumptuous homemade Lasagne and Chips, followed by Profiteroles. |
